Our company plans to acquire a tube bending machine equipped with punching capabilities to enhance processing efficiency for frame-based products. We first became acquainted with SLS after seeing their tube-sealing equipment at another factory; subsequently, we learned that they specialize in tube processing machinery and possess extensive experience in tube bending technology.


To be honest, before making our final decision, we evaluated several potential suppliers. Some of the customized solutions they proposed exceeded our budget expectations, while others failed to fully resolve the critical issue of precise hole alignment. Previously, our processing workflow involved performing punching and bending as separate, distinct operations. This approach entailed numerous processing steps, and the reliance on manual positioning frequently led to errors, resulting in overall low efficiency. This was a particularly critical concern for products such as handcarts, which demand a high degree of precision regarding hole alignment and structural consistency. If the left and right-side hole positions were significantly misaligned following the bending process, subsequent assembly would become extremely difficult—a factor that ranked among our primary concerns during the initial planning stages.



During our discussions, they did not rush to recommend a machine right from the start; instead, they took the time to understand the specifics of our products—including tube specifications, bending radii, and hole positioning requirements—before presenting a solution and quotation. They also provided actual operational videos of their "punching + tube bending" equipment, giving us a highly intuitive visual demonstration of the integrated processing capabilities and stability of the system. Based on our production volume and precision requirements, they recommended a CNC model. Since critical operations—such as feeding, rotation, and bending—are controlled by servo motors, processing consistency is significantly enhanced. To preemptively address potential interference issues following the bending process, they extended the structure of the machine head. Furthermore, given that we work with thin-walled steel tubes (25.4 x 1.2 mm) and have exacting standards for bending quality, they recommended equipping the machine with a mandrel and anti-wrinkle die set. In the test-run videos sent to us after the machine was completed, the inner surface of the bent tubes appeared consistently smooth, with no visible wrinkling. Subsequently, they engaged in several rounds of technical discussions and fine-tuning specifically to address the issue of hole alignment—a concern of particular importance to us. This entire process left me with the distinct impression that they possess genuine expertise in tube bending processes; they were truly focused on solving my specific needs rather than merely selling a piece of equipment.


Overall, our collaboration proceeded quite smoothly. From quotation, production, and testing through to shipment, progress updates were consistently synchronized at every stage. The quotation document clearly itemized all components—including the machinery, molds, spare parts, and shipping costs—which greatly facilitated our internal cost accounting and procurement evaluations. Prior to the equipment leaving the factory, they proactively provided us with corresponding operational videos and instruction manuals, allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the machinery's structure and processing workflows in advance. This measure truly saved us a significant amount of time regarding subsequent operator training and the commencement of formal production. Compared to the other suppliers we engaged with at the time, their proposed solution—encompassing configuration, pricing, and after-sales support—was the one that best aligned with our specific production requirements...
